Project Schedule:  November 2007 - July 2008 Project Complete

Shipment to Washington State:  Departed on September 19, 2008; Launched on September 27, 2008 (first launch photo to the right)

Scope of Project:  Convert this open day racer into a "modern" knockabout daysailer with weekending capabilities by starting with a design of known pedigree and modifying the deck and interior to include a small cuddy cabin with basic accommodations--all while retaining the sailing characteristics of the Shields with minimal additional weight, and while maintaining--and even improving upon--the aesthetic qualities of this attractive hull design.
