Once more, I began the day sanding in the cockpit--this time for good, I thought.  I sanded the new application of filler and fiberglass to smooth it as necessary, and then hand-sanded all the places the sander couldn't reach.  Then, I sanded the areas with finer sandpaper, up to 120 grit, to match the surrounding cockpit areas.  I also sanded all the mahogany supports to remove minor epoxy stains and prepare them for finishing.

Later in the day, I sanded all the on-deck brightwork with 220 grit paper to prepare it for build coats of varnish over the next several days.
