Bolero Project | Monday, March 10, 2008

This morning I called my wood supplier and ordered two new boards for the cabin trunk/cockpit coamings.  Clearly, I couldn't continue my attempts to resaw the thicker board with the equipment I had.  The new material would arrive on Wednesday.

Since building the coamings was the most logical next step, with the main bulkhead's installation to follow shortly thereafter, there wasn't much I could do until the new wood arrived.  However, I did wash and sand the final application of tabbing on the chainplates, virtually completing that job.  Meanwhile, I refocused on another project in the shop for the next couple days.
