Waanderlust Project | Wednesday, August 25, 2010

After a later-than-intended start, I got to work on the interior masking to prepare for primer and paint.  Over the course of a few hours, I masked off all the wood trim that'd be later varnished, and other areas adjacent to the overhead and cabin trunk that weren't going to  be painted now.

For now, I was concentrating only on the overhead and cabin trunk; I'd prepare and finish other interior surfaces, such as the bulkheads, stowage areas, and settees, later in the project.

Once I had all the taping complete, I tacked off the surfaces and applied a coat of white primer.
