Snow Lily | Monday, November 5, 2012

I got started with some work on the interior trim, removing excess bungs and lightly sanding all the most recent trim  to fine-tune corners and prepare the new trim for varnish later.

At the companionway, I milled rounded corners on the teak top step, and sanded it smooth before installing it on the countertop with four screws.  I let the step overhang the trim by a small amount.

During the middle part of the day, my upholstery contractor was on site to make interior cushion templates for two separate projects, including Snow Lily.  During that time, among other things, I made some additional measurements related to the electric propulsion system and batteries.

Later, after some errands off site, I sanded the toerail and, after cleaning up, applied another coat of varnish.
