After removing weights and plastic, I cleaned and lightly sanded the newly-recored foredeck as required, preparing it for new fiberglass later in the day.

I also sanded as needed on the two sidedeck patches, bringing the outer edge of the new laminate flush with the adjacent, existing deck areas and scuffing the whole surface to prepare for fairing and surfacing.

With the preparatory work complete, and after cleaning up, I prepared a pattern of the foredeck, and cut two layers of fiberglass to fit.

Next, I installed the two layers in epoxy resin.

I applied the first round of fairing filler to the port and starboard after sidedecks. The material was not behaving well on this day for some reason, so the application was not as smooth as usual.

Meanwhile, I applied more compound to the port forward sidedeck--just a thin third coat to fine-tune the surface--and a first coat to the newly-repaired poop deck, wrapping up the day's work.
