Kaholee Refit | August 9, 2007

I continued work on the new upper settee lockers, sanding the fillets that I applied yesterday and otherwise preparing the areas for primer and paint.  Later in the day, I applied a coat of primer to the new lockers.

I spent much of the day on a variety of odds and ends, from priming the new plywood galley back to fabricating a plywood divider that would go between the engine box and the nav station, to milling mahogany that would be used in building the cabinet doors.  I used a custom rig that I have to press the coamings out to their proper position against the cockpit walls, ready for fasteners.

Finally, I fiberglassed the top of the holding tank in place, using two layers of material.  Then, I took part of the afternoon off from this project to take care of some other things.
