Iota Refit | January 4, 2008

I spent the day sanding the decks.  I began on the forward part of the coachroof, then moved on to the port sidedeck, foredeck, starboard sidedeck, and finally the poop deck late in the day.  I removed the remaining residue, paint, and molded nonskid pattern, and on the starboard side also sanded (as far as 80 grit for now) the cabin trunk to match the port side, which I'd sanded earlier in the week.

Afterwards, I cleaned up the boat and shop to remove the dust and piles of old nonskid.
