I hand-sanded the toerails and adjacent areas to finish up the primer sanding, and some additional detail sanding,  and afterwards I vacuumed off the boat and the shop before solvent-washing the deck and hull to prepare them for additional steps.

With the clean-up complete for the moment, I moved on to begin masking off the nonskid areas on deck so that I could spray the gloss white sections.  I spent the remainder of the day on this task, first laying out and then taping off the sections as required.  When the taping was done, I filled in the areas with masking paper to prohibit overspray in the field sections.

I didn't finish the pre-paint preparations this day, so with more to do I planned to spend tomorrow on the remaining tasks required before the final paint coats, which I'd apply Monday.
