I spent part of the morning with the final pre-primer preparations:  laying out the hoses for the spray gun and breathing apparatus, collecting paint sundries, and tacking off the hull.

Once I had my materials on hand later in the day, I mixed the paint and, over the period of a few hours, applied three coats of Alexseal high-build primer to the hull and rudder.
