With the extra cure time overnight, the primer was in good shape for sanding, so I returned to the cockpit to finish up in the well.  Afterwards, I moved down to work on the hull, since the staging was still set for work there, and, over th4e course of the morning and into the afternoon, I completed sanding the hull with 220 grit paper by hand and machine as needed.  The high build primer acts as a sort of final surfacing check, highlighting various areas requiring additional minor filling (usually pinholes and raw laminate air voids), but mainly provided a smooth, consistent surface and sealed any fairing compound to provide a better basis for the finish primer later.

Once I finished the hull sanding, I reset the staging for deck height and began work on the starboard deck, starting at the bow and working my way through the foredeck and part of the starboard sidedeck and cabin trunk before the end of the day.
