I spent the day removing deck hardware.  After first documenting the starting positions of all the hardware, and the general condition and appearance of the deck, I began work at the tip of the bow, and slowly worked my way aft.

The work was slow-going, thanks to a combination of difficult access (working through the limited openings provided by the molded interior/cabin liner) and overlong fasteners coated with sealant everywhere but where it was necessary to prevent water inflow.  The job required many  trips back and forth from abovedecks to below, but through the day I removed the lifelines and stanchions, bow pulpit, stanchions, mooring cleats, chain pipe, and some of the chainplate fittings.

I'd continue with more of the same tomorrow.
