Waanderlust Project--Phase III |
Thursday October
6,
2011 I wrapped up the pending interior work by installing a small shelf, which I'd been painting for a few days, and trim piece at the head of the starboard settee. Afterwards, I removed tools, protective cloths, and remaining tools. As much for storage as anything else, I installed the floorboard sections, which had come to me already refinished and did a nice job pulling together the interior. To review how the interior looked at the beginning of the project (in May 2010), please click here. |
The companionway hatch required an additional coat of paint, so I took care of that and prepared to install it tomorrow, after which I'd move the boat outdoors for storage till we began the next round of work in several months. |
