First thing, I washed and lightly sanded the new tabbing securing the battery support platform to the hull, and cleaned up afterwards.  At the same time, I cleaned up the lazarette and cockpit locker, then painted out the spaces, including the underside of the locker lids, as well as the space beneath the companionway.  I left the lowest portion of the cockpit locker unpainted for now; I'd paint the final areas later, at the same time as the battery area.

Before painting the battery platform, I applied a coat of 2-part epoxy primer to the new tabbing, which would allow me to overcoat with the final paint in the immediate future.

Meanwhile, I worked on the final interior locker doors (other than the upholstered backrests), including one beneath the companionway; in the quarterberth; and hanging the head doorway.

At the entrance to the forward cabin, I hung a small curtain rod to support a privacy curtain. Although it stood up to its installation long enough for a photo, the rod was already bending under the weight of the rather heavy, lined curtain, and was clearly completely unsuitable.  I removed the rod and sourced a replacement that I'd install once it arrived.
