The gloss paint had had enough cure time, so it was safe for me to proceed with masking off for the nonskid paint.  Once I completed the masking, I applied the first of two coats of nonskid paint to the field areas.


         

         

         


Afterwards, I did a little more masking along the outer edge of the toerail, where it met the hull, to prepare for the upcoming hull primer and paint, but final preparations would await completion of the nonskid, after which I could cover the decks and move the staging to hull height.
