Monday, April 16, 2012 I spent part of the morning sanding the hull-deck joint and filled-in port openings to prepare these areas for their respective next steps. |
| Inside the boat, I removed the bracing and molds. I'd work more on the insides of these openings later. The clear stuff around the openings is hot glue left over from the molds' installation. |

| With good weather on hand, I focused largely on another boat (and would for much of the week), stored outdoors and getting ready for the season ahead with time-critical and weather-dependent jobs to complete, but later in the afternoon I returned to Snow Lily to install two additional layers of fiberglass in the centers of the port openings, where the original material was still a bit low. The new material brought the centers essentially flush. |

| In the cockpit, I installed two layers of fiberglass over the two small round openings remaining, and the old gauge panel. |
