Sailmaster 131 | Wednesday, November 20, 2013 After final preparations, I concentrated on interior paint work, beginning with a coat of gray Bilgekote in the chain locker. |
Working from forward to aft, I applied a coat of primer to the undersides of the decks, exposed hull sections, cabinets, and settee bases, including the inside of the cockpit well and quarterberth areas. |
With the interior off limits with the fresh paint, I worked the remainder of the day on various shop projects, including the cabin sole and other interior trim, preparing for and applying additional varnish. |
Finally, I stripped the old finish from the companionway ladder, leaving it ready for sanding and varnish. |
