Hattie
Mae | Friday, May 29, 2009 I had to be away from the shop all morning, but in the afternoon, I continued with the sanding. I worked on hand-sanding the detail areas in the cockpit and elsewhere: corners, around gauges and other obstructions, and anywhere else that I missed with the vibrating sander previously. Afterwards, I vacuumed and solvent-washed the hull and deck and applied fine filler to various pinholes and minor depressions as needed, which areas had been highlighted by the primer application. I left the fairing compound to cure for the weekend. |
