With some unexpected demands on my time this day, I had less time for the project than I'd hoped or expected.  So I concentrated on tasks that would hopefully leave me in a good position for better progress tomorrow.

I installed a support cleat across the existing chainlocker bulkhead with epoxy and screws, forming the foundation of the eventual platform that would cover the tankage space.

Then,
from a template made yesterday, I cut a small plywood bulkhead to fit the space beneath the cleat and fill in the lower portion of the chainlocker.  Before installing this, however, I needed to receive the length of fiberglass tube that I'd ordered for a chainlocker drain.

While I waited for UPS to arrive, I began to measure and template for the longitudinal centerline bulkhead that would be the final step in the tankage containment area.  I achieved a rough fit on the template before the drain tube arrived, at which time I cut and installed the fiberglass drain tube in its appropriate position running from the chainlocker to a bit beneath the head platform.  I used a couple dabs of hot melt glue to hold it temporarily in position, and then secured the plywood bulkhead in position with screws.

Next, I installed epoxy fillets on both sides (fore and aft) of the new bulkhead and around the opening cut for the drain tube into the chainlocker, and finally installed 6" tabbing over the bulkhead edges and onto the hull, as well as directly over the drain tube in the lowest portion of the boat to hold it in position.
