I started the day by sanding yesterday's primer on the overhead to prepare it for the finish coats of paint.  Afterwards, I vacuumed and solvent-washed as needed.

A bit later in the day, I applied the first of at least two coats of semi-gloss white enamel to the overhead.  The paint might appear glossier in these photos because it was still wet at the time the photos were taken.

After sanding the overhead, but before I painted, I finished up the installation of the stern pulpit, bedding it well in sealant and securing it with 18 bolts.  I cleaned up the excess sealant, completing the job.

I sanded the engine box components/companionway ladder, and removable settee fiddle pieces to prepare them for additional varnish, and then applied another build coat of varnish.  I also took the opportunity to mask off the two deck hatch frames on the coachroof so I could apply another coat or two of varnish.
