Building the AF4 19

I’m building this simple 21′ flat-bottomed skiff, designed by Jim Michalak. In Episode 19, I mill my rough sapele into the proper-sized blanks for my gunwale and other trim, then cut and glue scarfs to make up the 26-foot long gunwale blanks for the boat.

Episode 19:  Work between February 3 – March 3, 2026 Project total to date: 182.75 hours
