I wrapped up preparations on a few remaining pieces of removable brightwork, including the companionway swashboards, settee backrest/locker doors, and additional interior trim.
Meanwhile, I sanded all the ongoing brightwork--drawer fronts, etc.--to prepare the pieces for revarnishing. Some pieces, newly stripped and sanded, received their sealer coat, while others received additional gloss varnish. Still others received a coat of satin varnish, all depending on the state of the existing surfaces and existing coating build.
