I continued work on the mast, this time on the wiring side of things.  Only two wires were required:  a sheathed pair to the anchor light, and a coaxial cable for the VHF antenna.  After running a wire snake down the mast from the top, I pulled the two wires through, wrapping them in foam pipe insulation as I went in an effort to prevent wire slapping.

Eventually, I pulled both wires through the masthead, then re-led the VHF cable through a hole just below the antenna bracket, and then made up the connector end.

At the lower end, I attached ring terminals to the anchor light wires.  I'd run out of the coaxial connectors I needed, so I couldn't finish the lower end of the VHF cable at the moment.  I'd complete the wiring at the masthead once some fittings I needed arrived.
