Thursday, February 2, 2012 I continued sanding my way forward along the port side, eventually removing the remaining paint from the topsides. I uncovered more repairs just forward of the large midships section I discovered earlier, surely related to the larger adjacent area. With the port side stripped, I continued around the stem and partway down the starboard side. It continued to be a long process to remove the durable paint, as essentially I had to sand each section five times to get through the various paint and primer layers, scrubbing away a layer or two at a time. |
