After final preparations and surface prep, I installed the cherry plywood panels in the after parts of the cabin, following the same procedures I'd used throughout the boat.


         

        


I left the nav station panel off for now, partly because I was mostly out of clamps, and partly because the design and layout of this area required that the new panel be installed after the countertop was complete.


The large locker beneath the nav table was a perfect place for future electrical system installations, and before I installed the top in a permanent way, I decided to paint out the interior of the locker now.
