First thing, I prepared the outsides of the newly-filled through hull holes by grinding circular, dished areas around each location to accept new fiberglass.

Afterwards, I cleaned up inside and outside the boat fairly extensively, since I'd be working all over the boat on various repairs and patches later in the day and beyond.  With the cleanup complete, my first focus was on the remaining sections of the hull requiring new core, in the head and forward cabin.

Over a period of a few hours, I cut and prepared the new core to fit, stuffing pieces through the void behind the bulkhead and then filling in the remaining field areas with larger pieces of core.  Then, I installed the new core, first in the void, using plenty of adhesive in the slot and on the core as I stuffed it into place, and then the larger pieces, using the same techniques as in the main cabin earlier.

Next, I turned to the decks, and spent a couple hours solvent-washing all areas, then filling the myriad fastener holes and seams in the hull-deck joint with epoxy filler.
