Continuing work on the high-build primer, I sanded the hull and deck with 220 grit paper, by machine and by hand as needed. As intended, the primer sealed the various textures (original gelcoat, exposed laminate, and old/new fairing compounds) filled various pinholes while highlighting other areas that would require additional fine filling, which would be the next step in the process.
