I continued work on the starboard settee.  To begin, I cut and installed a pair of mahogany cleats on the top edges of the new support bulkhead that I installed yesterday, and then finalized the cut on the hull side of the aft platform section that I'd begun yesterday, now I was assured of having the board in its proper orientation (i.e. level), thanks to the new support bulkhead and cleats.  I left the slight overhang for later trimming with a router.

Next, I laid out the positions for two additional interim bulkheads in the forward section, dividing the space into three more or less equal parts.  Then, over the course of the morning, I templated, cut, and fit these two bulkheads, just as I had with the others, before permanently installing them with glue, cleats, screws, and epoxy fillets just before lunch.  I also filleted the aft bulkhead and other areas of the starboard settee that would receive tabbing.

In the afternoon, I cut strips of tabbing for all the sections on the starboard side, including the new support bulkheads, settee front, and the aft bulkhead, and then wet out and installed the tabbing in all areas.

With a bit of time left in the day, I worked on installing the final mahogany cleats on the port settee:  along both sides of the mid-support bulkhead, and along the inside top edge of the plywood settee front, all of which would give additional support and a good area to accept screws and adhesive during final settee installation later.

Similarly, I measured all the spaces on the starboard side, and then cut cleats for all those spaces as well, for installation tomorrow once the fiberglass tabbing had cured.

Finally, I laid out two access hatches in the port settee top--one for each of the two locker spaces beneath--and cut the openings.
