Circe
| Friday, February 12, 2010 The day's first order of business was to reinstall the four deadlights in the saloon. I'd arranged a helper for this chore, as there was no way to accomplish the task alone. Once all four deadlights were successfully reinstalled, I cleaned up the mess and excess sealant from the installation. |
Next, I temporarily removed some of the staging around the boat for better access, and solvent-washed the bottom to prepare it for paint. I masked off the lower edge of the boottop, and then applied two coats of red antifouling paint to the bottom over the course of the afternoon. |
