Knowing I had a couple other commitments later in the week that might shorten a couple of days, I took advantage of some spare hours to take care of a few small tasks.

The deadlight lenses were cured enough to allow me to remove the excess sealant from around the edges of the frame, and afterwards I aligned the outside frame piece--which had a flat profile on its bonding side--and trimmed the masking paper from the lens beneath it, preparing the four assemblies for final installation soon.

I purchased new hollow 5/16" square gasket material for the opening ports, and now I removed the old, cracked material and replaced it with the new.

On the lazarette hatch, I installed the bronze hatch hinges.

Finally, I continued some of the varnish work with a second coat on the various pieces I'd started earlier.
