Waanderlust Project--Phase III | Friday, September 16, 2011

I got to work on a couple loose ends that I could get going and complete in a few days, beginning with the eyebrow trim.  After masking off the trim, I sanded the existing varnish, cleaned up, and applied the first of several additional coats to the entire trim.

Inside the boat, I masked off the galley areas and around the aft end of the cabin so I could start the painting process.  Once I'd masked off, I applied a coat of white primer to the remaining areas above and around the galley.

A replacement switch for the table saw arrived in the afternoon, and late in the day, with great fanfare, I installed it with success--hearing the saw whine into life was like a tonic--so hopefully that would mean smooth sailing for the continuation of the toerail project next week.
