Sailmaster 131 | Monday, October 21, 2013

Now that the gloss topcoats were complete, I removed the masking tape and paper from the deck areas.

Afterwards, I remasked the decks, this time over the new gloss paint and leaving the field areas ready for nonskid paint.  With the masking complete, and after final preparations to the surfaces, I applied the first coat of beige nonskid paint to all areas.

With a bit of time left in the day, I set up braces and horizontal crossbeams again to locate and mark the top edge of the boottop, so that I could remask the hull to prepare for the hull paint in the near future.
