With some other errands on the books, it was a good time to pick up a couple new fire extinguishers that the owner requested.  Later, I installed these where the old ones had been.

The owner requested that I create a small notch in the cockpit locker to allow the fuel hose for the outboard to run through without pinching.  I found that with a small notch at the aft end, plus another one at the aft corner of the interior of the locker, the hose could run out easily and cleanly.

Later, I removed the outboard from its bracket so I could give it a test run.

The motor seemed to run well, but when I removed it from my temporary test tank, I found that there was oil coming from portions of the lower unit, which was not a good sign and would require additional investigation and repair.
