Again today, I began and ended the day with the new woodwork:  I sanded the pieces in the morning, and applied a third coat of varnish at the end of the day.

In between, I once again concentrated on deck hardware, this time on the after half of the boat.  I began with the stern pulpit, which I knew would be a bear to install since access to the after sets of bolts was at about the limits of my reach inside the lazarette.

Afterwards, I continued with the various stern and cockpit cleats, stern chocks, blower and intake vents, winch pads, coachroof padeyes, and grab rails.
