I spent the day sanding the primer with 220 grit paper, by machine and by hand as necessary, beginning with the cockpit well and coachroof, then moving on to the hull (since the staging was already at hull height), and, finally, ending with the sidedecks and cabin trunk, after I moved the staging back up.  I completed most of the sanding, except for some hand sanding on the toerails and other areas, which I'd wrap up tomorrow.  Because additional painting steps wouldn't occur for some time, I also removed the paper and masking from the hull and deck areas.
