Now that the blue hull paint had had more than adequate cure time, I masked the top edge of the boottop using a heavy vinyl blue fine-line tape, which I covered with regular green masking tape.  Then, I covered the topsides with plastic sheeting and, as final protection against overspray, applied a layer of masking paper over the bottom portion of the plastic.

    
         



With the preparations complete, I spray-applied four coats of Alexseal snow white to the boottop.
