The white deck paint was complete, so I moved on to the final preparations required before applying the flag blue hull paint later in the day.

I removed one section of the hull draping plastic, and used the other to cover the deck and prevent hull paint from overspraying onto the new deck areas.  I carefully taped and over-taped it to ensure there were no gaps.  Then, I repaired a couple areas on the bottom skirt where it had come partially untaped, and secured a section of masking paper over the top of the skirt, just below the waterline, to cover it and prevent any of the cured hull primer on the plastic from potentially coming free and flaking into the new paint.

With that, the hull was ready for paint, after I solvent-washed and tacked off, and after I wet down, once again, the floor and staging (now re-positioned for hull spraying).

Afterwards, I sprayed on three coats of Alexseal flag blue over the course of a few hours, providing a rather noteworthy transformation to the boat's appearance.
