With the boat scheduled to depart later in the week, just a few odds and ends remained.

Over the weekend, Jason from JD Canvas arrived with the nearly-complete dodger to do a trial fit and ensure that all was going according to his plan.  During this fitting, he installed several snaps to the boat, which now I removed and reinstalled with some bedding compound.  I'd also been awaiting the dodger to determine where to locate a small cleat on the starboard coaming for the roller furling line, and now I could install that as well.

Meanwhile, I moved all the jackstands so I could paint the patches beneath their original locations.

Later, Jason returned for the final dodger installation, now complete.   It looked excellent.

The owner reported issues with the tachometer that was in the boat, so after a couple false starts with replacements that weren't available, I located a suitable new gauge and installed it.  Later in the day, I set up for another engine test run (kept necessarily short with the boat indoors), and the new gauge seemed to read more or less properly  (the old one hadn't read properly at all), but the needle was fluttery, so I'd have to look into things a little further.
