After final preparations, over the course of the day I applied four coats of Alexseal finish primer to the deck areas, working again in two stages:  first the cockpit well and coachroof, which I needed to access from the sidedecks; and then the remaining areas, including the loose hatches.  I went with four coats everywhere because I felt the additional coat was helpful in covering the dark areas of the deck where the high-build was thin or sanded through, and because the primer seemed thin this time around.
