Triton #680 | Tuesday, September 9, 2008

The white deck paint had cured sufficiently in the morning, so we were able, over the course of a couple hours, to remove all the tape, paper, and plastic from the boat, revealing properly her new paint.

We had to wait till early afternoon before beginning to prepare for the hull paint, since I wanted to ensure that 24 hours had passed before taping over the new paint.  But shortly thereafter, we spent another couple hours taping off the gunwale and applying plastic to protect the decks, moving the staging to hull height, and taping off the waterline before completing the final hull cleaning/solvent wash and shop cleanup for tomorrow's paint application.
